When a reinstall makes sense

• Windows won’t start, keeps repairing itself, or loops on restart.
• Constant errors, crashes, or blue screens that started with software, not hardware.
• It’s full of programs you didn’t install and can’t get rid of.

What’s included

We back up your documents, photos, and what we can from the browser, including bookmarks and passwords when we can. We do a clean install of Windows 11, install drivers, set up Windows Defender and LibreOffice (a free office suite), do a basic cleanup, and put your files back. Programs you paid for, like Microsoft Office or tax software, need to be reinstalled with your own license or account.

When it’s not the fix

If the computer is slow because of a dying hard drive, reinstalling Windows on that same drive won’t last. We check the drive first. An SSD upgrade may be the real fix. If it won’t turn on at all, see computer won’t turn on.

Older computers

Older machines Microsoft says “can’t upgrade” are often fine with a clean install of Windows 11. Microsoft doesn’t officially support Windows 11 on those machines, and we’ll explain what that means for updates before we start.
