We do power supplies, motherboards when it’s worth it, memory, drives, and “it’s so slow I want to throw it.” A lot of desktops just need a clean-out and a drive that isn’t dying. We’ll say so. We don’t talk you into a new PC if this one still has life.
If the board is fried, we’ll tell you. Sometimes the honest answer is a used machine we already fixed — that’s how William’s review on our site happened, and we don’t pretend every box is savable.
