Signs your PS4 needs a new HDMI port

• Blue or white light, no picture on the TV.
• “No signal” on every cable and every TV you try.
• The picture only shows if you hold the cable at an angle.
• The port is visibly crooked, cracked, or has a pin pushed in.
• Someone forced the cable in upside down.

If the PS4 is blinking blue and never turns solid, or it beeps and shuts off, the problem may be something other than the port. Bring it in anyway. Diagnostics and estimates are free on most devices.

We open the console and check the port and the board traces around it. If the port is the problem, we remove it, solder in a new one, and test it on a TV. If a used part we already have in the shop does the job, it’s included. If there’s more damage than the port, we tell you before going further.
