Signs it’s the HDMI port

• The Xbox powers on, but the TV says “no signal.”
• The picture or sound cuts out when the cable moves.
• The cable is loose in the port or won’t click in.
• The metal inside the port looks bent, pushed in, or broken.
• It quit right after the console was moved, dropped, or yanked by the cord.

Rule out the easy stuff first: try another HDMI cable, another TV input, or another TV. If none of that works, bring it in.

What we do

We open the console, inspect the port and the board around it, and tell you what we see and what it costs. For a damaged port, we remove it, solder on a new one, and test the Xbox on a TV before it goes home. If a used part we already have in the shop does the job, it’s included.

If the damage goes into the board itself, we stop and call you first. Xbox Series X motherboard repair is $299.99 with a 3-month warranty, and Xbox One S/X motherboard repair is $199.99 with a 30-day warranty.
